Dr. Dori Blanchaert, MD, DMD, M.D., is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Doris Novid as her new colleague at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. She has been a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry since 2005, and was honored as a Fellow by the International College of Dentalistry in 2014. Before entering private practice, BlancAert was an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health at Maryland State University, College Park. After receiving her AEGD from GSDM in 2005 and her B.S. in DENTIST in 2006, Dr. Novids accepted her appointment as Baltimore County's first dentist in 2010.
Back at GSDM, Dr. Novid returned to retain her position at Hudson Dental Care, a position she continues to hold to this day. It works in practice and supervises the practice of diagnosing and treating patients with oral pathos and the management of oral health problems.
After working in the private practice since 1988, Dr. Meinecke continues to be very active in the dental profession. She worked as an assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she specialized in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
She is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and one of the few dentists in Massachusetts who use phase surgical reconstructive implants. She is an associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and an associate professor in the Department of Dentsistry at Harvard Medical School.
She attended Saint Michael's College in Winooski, Vermont, and then attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She attended the U.S. Army Medical School in Washington, D.C. and the Massachusetts Dental Society in Boston.
After attending Boston College with a bachelor's degree, Dr. Casazza earned a D.M.D. from Tufts University's School of Dentistry. After his father suggested he get involved in dentistry, Ken founded the New England School for Mechanical Dentistry in Boston, MA, and after graduating from D Dental School in 1991, he began practicing in Lancaster, PA before moving to Hudson, NH, in 2002. Dr. Beliveau practiced with her father and had her own dental practice in Newburyport for several years before she teamed up with friends of Dr. St. Clair's and bought an existing practice in Newburntport, MA to create Dentist Partners Newfieldport.
Dr. Casazza received 2001 a renowned scholarship of the academy for general dentistry and is further member of the AGD. Dr. Gilliland, who has experienced a wide range of advanced treatments and treatments in addition to general dentistry, is a member of the American Dental Association and the National Association of Dentists (NAD).
Dr. Gilliland believes that quality, not quantity, is the key to dental care, and this makes him an excellent partner for his practice.
